I HAVEN’T done a fashion post for the boys for a few weeks now, partly because I’ve been feeling a bit uninspired by their wardrobes with the change in season, and partly because Stew has been getting up before me and dressing them (no offence, but when daddy does the dressing there’s not much to shout about!).
But today’s outfits really make me smile, so I had to share them. I’d seen a few bits and pieces by Tootsa MacGinty popping up on Instagram, and loved them immediately. It’s a unisex children’s clothes company with fun. bright designs … I could buy everything on their website.
I bought an outfit each for the boys from Tootsa’s French range in the summer sale, and was so pleased with them when they arrived. Let’s start with the littlest…

I love the sunny yellow colour on this raglan top, and it was such a coincidence when we booked our holiday and ended up flying to Nice! The man at border control was very impressed. I also bought a pair of blue trousers with a beach design on, but I sized up to be safe and they won’t fit for a little while. Instead, I paired the top with these trousers from the Baby K range at Mothercare. Here’s the little man showing his outfit off…
For our biggest little man I went for the blue raglan with an ice lolly, which is lovely and bright. The Tour de France trousers are cream (a bit dangerous with a toddler, I know), and have foxes, dogs and flamingos riding bikes dotted all over them. I love that the trouser legs have mismatched turn-ups too.
And here they are in action (kind of)…
I love the print on the trousers!
We all know I love a bit of twinning, and I think this is a great way of doing it without dressing the boys exactly the same. So here they are together…
And in case anyone thinks it’s easy to get a two-year-old and a baby to pose together, just take a look at what happened in between the useable shots!
This might actually be my favourite pic!
I love both outfits. So very cute, and the last pose is the cutest.
Thank you.
