What the boys wore: Animals and mustard

Since the end of the summer I’ve been really into mustardy yellow tones for the boys’ clothes. I bought them a few bits to go on holiday, and have built on them with a good old Zara visit.

I’ll start with Ezra’s outfit, as I absolutely love the detail on his trousers. From the front, they look like plain mustard harem pants, but on the back there’s a really cute goldfish!

The trousers are from an Australian website called Tiny Rain, which is a bit more pricey than I tend to go for, but with their end of season autumn/winter sale coinciding with the start of our autumn I actually got a few bargains.

The sweatshirt is an oldie as it’s a hand-me-down from Santi. It’s by a brand called Hugo Loves Tiki, which I found on Instagram, and again is on the more expensive side but it was a sale item and has been worn loads.

Santi’s outfit is all high street, and in fact is all from one shop … I’m sure you can guess where! Yup, my absolute favourite – Zara.

I actually bought the top for Ezra and it’s a size 18-24 months. When it arrived it was exactly the same size as an age 3-4 … I don’t know if something’s up with their sizing or if it’s a one-off, but Ezra missed out on this one! It’s super cute though, and is a cream colour with a raccoon print.

Keeping with the animal theme, the trousers have little dogs on and words in scribbled writing all over.

I also bought a really snuggly hooded cardigan for the days when you don’t quite need a coat. It’s a really dark grey, and has “on my way” sewn on the back.

When the hood is down it looks like it says “my way” which is very true for Santi!

Here are my coordinated boys together (looking wicked as always!)…
