School’s out for the summer, and there’s plenty going on over the next six weeks to keep little ones entertained. Here’s a guide of what’s on in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, and further afield, from stage shows and theatre workshops, to traditional family fun days. The listings are broken down into categories – outdoor fun, theatre and
AS you’ll be well aware, this weekend was the hottest of the year so far. It was crazy hot!I’d been looking forward to spending the weekend outdoors enjoying the sun … but it turned out that wasn’t entirely possible because of the heat. On Saturday we woke up with no plans, and as usual decided
LAST week I did a bit of a round up of our weekend glamping in Wales, and I’ve since been asked for more details, so I thought I’d write a review of the yurts themselves and the facilities at Hidden Valley Yurts Wye Valley. We decided to head to the glamping site near Chepstow after
THE main thing we needed before entering the oh-so-fun weaning stage (apart from a bazillion bibs and buckets of patience) was a decent blender. Even though Ezra was keen to be baby-led and would happily munch on whatever we were eating, I wanted to combine this with purées to make sure some food was actually
THE summer holidays are upon us, and the thought of entertaining the children for six long weeks is a daunting task for many parents. But there’s lots going on around Carmarthenshire to keep little ones busy whatever the weather. Here’s a guide to indoor, outdoor, chilled out and active events to add to your calendar…
MY favourite of Santi’s outfits this week is quite a simple one – a white tee and denim shorts. We had some lovely weather to start the week, so it was nice not having to bother with trousers and jumpers for a walk in the park. The shorts are from Monsoon and were a birthday
I HAVEN’T done a fashion post in a little while, which is a shame because Santi has some lovely summer clothes, but I’m back on it now!
This outfit is my current favourite, even if Stew thinks the shorts and t-shirt look a bit wild together.
I’m a big fan of monochrome (I was once mocked for telling someone there should be more black baby clothes around) and absolutely love stripes, so this t-shirt was an obvious buy. Throw in these amazing pineapple shorts, which I picked up in Tallinn while on holiday and it’s perfect for summer.
Being in Wales, a jumper is a necessity for a day out. This sweatshirt, from Zara, is the same shade of grey as the pineapples, and I just love the slogan.
And here’s Santi rocking the look at Folly Farm…
I might have accidentally matched with a stripey tee … And we fitted in well at the zebra enclosure!
